pertemuan pertama PWL

Sabtu 21 september, pertemuan pertama makul pemrograman web lanjut, pada pertemuan ini kita dikenalkan hal - hal dasar yang berhubungan dengan website.
mulai dari kategori website,  desain web, kategori CMS / Content Management System (wordpress untuk web pribadi, joomla web portal, My BB web forum, Oscommerce ecommerce/online shop, Moodle web education.dll), kita juga dikenalkan mengenai server dan aplikasi server :
Web server        = apache
Database server = My SQL
FTP server         = file zilla
Mail server         = mercury
Java server         = Tomcat
os server            = windows, linux, dan mac.

Install OS Backtrack 5 R 2

cara install Backtrack 5 R2  :

- Insert the installation media (DVD / flash) to your PC, wait for it to look like this:

- Click enter,

- Select BackTract Text, click enter. Type startx (startx function is to start / bring up the GUI Backtrack 5 Gnome R2)

- Click Install BackTrack,

- Select English, then click Forward, wait for it to finish setting up the clock,

- Religion and Time Zone Adjust according to your wishes and then click Forward:

- Select the keyboard layout that you want. Then click Forward,

- Select Specify partitions manually (advanced), and then click forward,

- Click free space, then click Add..

- Create a partition in accordance with the existing setting is drawn up, except for size (contents according to your needs) and then click OK,

- select free space, then click Add..

- Create a partition in accordance with the existing setting is drawn up, except for size (contents according to your needs) and then click OK,

- Select the type ext4 partition, and then click Forward,

- Click Install, wait until the installation is complete.

- Click Restart Now,

- Remove / unplug / off the installation media (DVD / flash) from your PC / laptop, and click enter. So the PC / Laptop you will restart and wait until the display like this:

Fill Login with: root
and the contents of passwords with: toor
then type startx to get into dekstopnya, remove / delete the shortcut "install BackTrack" that exist on the desktop. Backtrack 5 R2 installation process is complete.

HTML 5

HTML adalah suatu bahasa yang digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan halaman web.

• HTML merupakan singkatan dari Hyper Text Markup Language.
• HTML bukan merupakan bahasa pemrograman, HTML adalah suatu markup language (bahasa markah).
• Suatu markup language berupa serangkaian markup tags.
• HTML menggunakan markup tags untuk mendeskripsikan halaman web.

HTML Tags
HTML markup tags biasa disebut HTML tags.

• HTML tags berupa keywords atau kata kunci yang diapit oleh tanda kurung seperti <html>.
• HTML tags biasanya dipakai berpasangan seperti <b> dan </b>.
• Tag pertama dalam pasangan html tags adalah start tag atau tag awal, sedang tag kedua adalah end tag atau tag akhir.
• Start tags dan end tags biasa juga disebut opening tags dan closing tags.

HTML Documents = Web Pages

• HTML documents atau dokumen HTML mendeskripsikan suatu web pages atau halaman web.
• HTML documents berisi HTML tags dan plain text atau text biasa.
• HTML documents atau dokumen HTML juga biasa disebut web pages atau halaman web.

Tujuan dari sebuah web browser (seperti Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Safari atau Google Chrome) adalah untuk membaca HTML documents kemudian menampilkannya sebagai halaman web. Browser tidak menampilkan HTML tags, tetapi menggunakan tag tersebut untuk menterjemahkan isi dari halaman web.

Coba ketik contoh HTML diatas dengan teks editor (red ; notepad, wordpad) atau menggunakan html editor (dreamweaver)


Penjelasan Contoh

• Teks di antara <html> dan </html> mendeskripsikan web page.
• Teks di antara <body> dan </body> adalah konten halaman web yang akan tertampil.
• Teks di antara <h1> dan </h1> digunakan untuk menampilkan judul.
• Teks di antara <p> dan </p> digunakan untuk menampilkan paragraf.
